ABOUT GRATITUDE CAFE BAKERY.
Behind Gratitude Cafe & Bakery is owner and baker, Kat Cloran. Kat, who is sole-owner of the Groovy Guru Granola which makes it's home behind Gratitude. She wanted to create a place that spoke to the inner soul of a person and brought community together.
With the purchase of the building in 2011, Kat set out to create a place that was unique and genuine in spirit and motives. She fell in-love with it's historic charm and location-- remembering Saturday mornings spent walking and shopping the same historic little strip of buildings as a child.
We offer a morning menu of same-day bakery items along with our own fair-trade roasted coffee and organic teas.
Our lunch menu features vegetarian soup, sandwiches and salads by the season. Throughout the day we have a selection of bake goods, such as Kat's famous triple-chocolate decadent brownies, gigantic cookies, and scratch cakes dressed in spoon-licking butter cream.
Pulling from the community, we offer artisan (Fair Trade) products available for purchase, as well as an art wall that features local art to entertain the eye.
We are open to those who have pressing engagements and need a quick treat, but our hope is that you stay and become a local! We tease with tantalizing bake goods, wholesome vegetarian food and a comfortable atmosphere where conversation and good people are plenty!
